I'm so glad you found your way here. I'm Katie (or Kate as my loved ones calls me).

You know the phrase, "If you want to make God laugh, tell him your plans?" Well ... I think I  must make God chuckle quite a bit. I keep informing him how I would like things to be ... he laughs, and gently says, "Mmm...how about this instead!" And the more that I lean into the grace that he puts into my life, the more I recognize how he is working behind the scenes to give me the desires of my heart. It's the working with him, and trusting in his joy, and hope, that is the place where I find my deepest struggles, and my deepest peace.

The latest result of leaping headlong into His plans resulted in a move halfway across the country to upstate New York. I am officially a Mid-west transplant in the Northeast (and trust me when I say it's a completely different world out here!). Between falling in love with a man who wears a uniform, planning our upcoming wedding, and attempting to not get lost in the tiny towns tucked in the mountains, I am learning how to put down deep roots and to thrive in the places the Holy Spirit leads me!

So this space? This space relishes in all that comes from digging deep into a God-breathed life!
