Barcelona

What seems like only a few short months ago, long-held dreams were pulled out from secret chambers of the heart, dusted off and mulled over. The results? Plane tickets were purchased, hostels booked and maps were marked. And then it was off to Europe to delight in what the Lord was putting in front of me.

I was blessed to have two dear friends both studying in various parts of Europe this past fall. Together, we experienced the highs and lows of traveling throughout Europe during a short time-span. Barcelona, Rome, Brugge, Ghent, Lueven and Paris all passed by in a flurry of metros, mountains, gelato, cappachinos, ancient ruins, beautiful churches, miles of walking, chocolate, rivers, crepes, towers and macaroons.

Barcelona was the first stop. My heart wasn't prepared to encounter this jewel of a city tucked between mountains and and ocean. One place in particular will stand out in my memory ... high on a hill is the over look of the city and the Font Màgica de Montjuïc. It was the first stop when I arrived and it was there that I slowly watched the day turn into night, watching the city lights slowly flicker on one by one ...

Ben and Meghan: Engagement

On a sunny, late September evening, I met up with Ben and Meghan for their engagement session. These two. What a beautiful, beautiful couple! They barely needed any prompting from me ... they were so very happy to be with one another that it naturally showed. My favorite part of the evening? Watching Meghan's face light up every time she looked at Ben!

Congratulations Ben and Meghan! Thank you for allowing me to capture this moment in your lives, and I pray that the Lord continues to bless you abundantly as you prepare for marriage!

Nataleigh: Minneapolis Portrait Session

This beautiful woman set off to continue graduate studies in Belgium this fall, and before she left, we decided to capture a few images set in one of her favorite haunts: the Stone Arch Bridge in Nordeast Minneapolis. Her vibrant soul and lovely smile made my job an easy one!
