Peyton: A First Birthday Cake Smash

What a joy it was to capture photos of the sweetest lil' superman I've ever met! This little guy and his parents met me at their local ball diamond to capture Peyton's one-year photos and to do a fun baseball-themed cake smash. And I must say, a fantastic time was had by all!

A warm hothouse was the perfect escape from March's damp cold. Joseph and Sarah are eagerly awaiting the birth of the daughter in May and we took a Sunday afternoon to capture this special time of waiting and anticipating!

On a soft summer evening, I had the chance to photograph this handsome little man and his beautiful mama! He was such a little ham, making us coax and beg for a smile, and just when we thought it would never happen, a little grin would begin in his eyes and suddenly a beaming smile would break across his face!
